Scope Sight
Is it necessary to sight in the scope on a brand new rifle that came with the scope attached.?
If so what is an easy and inexpensive way to do this.

(A1. Yes. Even if the gun was scoped and bore-sighted at the factory, you’ll want to check that the scope is still zeroed (wasn’t knocked off zero in shipping) and make adjustments for the bullets you’re using.
(Q2. If so what is an easy and inexpensive way to do this.
(A2. Take a box of ammo to the local range and fire a grouping from a bench rest. If the group hits where you want, then you’re set. If its not you’ll need to adjust the scope until it hits where you want.
