How do i get my classic army m15a4 airsoft gun upgraded to a dmr? I want accuracy, but what do i need upgraded?
first, i need to get off that pesky orange tip. its glued on solid. Second, i need to know what internal upgrades i need to increase the accuracy and range of the AEG. that’s what is most important. I expect a long, tight bore barrel that i will have to hide under a barrel extension (aka suppressor or silencer). Or is there a whole new outer barrel i could get that would eliminate the need for a barrel extension?
Are there any other internal upgrades that would help, such as hop up or something?
I feel i have the external mods handled, with the exception of the barrel and/or silencer. So, unless you know of some incredible optic or bipod that is being sold for a great deal… don’t bother mentioning it.
I’m willing to spend between $75 and $125 dollars on internal upgrades.
Any links, advice, or PLANS would be most helpful, however the FPS must stay below 400 fps. Thanks.
To get off the tip, submerge the flash suppressor in boiling water for several minutes, five, at least, to loosen up the adhesive.
A competition level DMR will cost far more than $125. To bring it to marksman levels, you’ll have to replace most of the internals,ad it would need to be over 400 FPS.
There aren’t any upper receivers you could buy that would be more effective than a mock suppressor, stock upper, and lengthened tightbore.
The hop-up is the second upgrade to make. Go with a Big Out H-Hop or Echo 1 H-shape spacer/nub, and a King Arms or Prometheus Hard bucking for best results. Following that, a Systema Hard bucking with a H-nub or a FireFly V-Hop bucking (again, hard) with no nub will give you results almost as nice as the KA/Prommy+BO/Echo will.
